""Art Songs of the British Romantics" - I believe those of us born in the United Stated have an affinity towards the music of our fathers and mothers, I also believe that a vocalist finds it easier to sing the music from the lands of their heritage. My father's father was from the British Isles, and I feel strongly that I have had a connection to these songs by Elgar, Bridge, Quilter and Vaughn Williams fro the first moment I met them I hope you enjoy the songs as much as Malcolm and I have enjoyed learning and recording them for you.

"Our artists are at their interpretive best in Vaughn Williams' magically evocative settings of Robert Louis Stevenson's Songs of Travel."      -from review by the Audio Society of Atlanta, April 2011

“an earnest endeavor... Stanley Wilson has a compact, focused tenor… he sings with clear diction... Malcolm Halliday provides thoughtful support, demonstrating a fluid touch and clarity of articulation with occasional poetic flourishes... The sound of the recording has a pleasing concert hall ambiance...” Carla Maria Verdino-Süllwold , Fanfare [November/December 2015]
